At Rossendale Farmers Market we sell savoury pies using our own beef, and fruit pies, Whimberry Pies are our speciality - a truly Northern Treat, delicious with our home made diary cream. Also on sale fresh scones, fruit loaves, puddings, tray bakes, along with scones and cakes suitable for diabetics. Everything is home made on the farm using as much of our own dairy produce as possible.

Port of Lancaster Smokehouse

Established over 30 years ago, the Port of Lancaster Smokehouse has retained traditional methods of preparing and curing fish and meats of all kinds.

Our extensive range of traditionally smoked and gourmet food will amaze you. We have the best tasting kippers, hams, smoked salmon and delicious smoked shell-on prawns. We also offer an extensive range of smoked cheeses. Wherever possible we source locally, and in season offer River Lune wild salmon, sea trout and local game. Our potted shrimps are from Morecambe Bay and our white fish is bought daily at Fleetwood fish market.

Shorrocks Farmhouse Lancashire Cheese

The Shorrock Family have been making Lancashire Cheese at Newhouse Farm for 4 generations. We still follow methods and recipes handed down through the generations, all our cheeses are unpasturised and are handmade.

We have won numerous prizes through the years and were reserve champions at the Royal Lancashire Show 2004. We currently produce 'Farmhouse Tasty Lancashire', 'Mild & Creamy Lancashire', Lancashire with garlic and herbs, Lancashire with peppercorns, Lancashire with hot chillies, fresh red onion and other seasonal varieties.

We also make the famous 'Black Beauty Bomb' a strong creamy lancs encased in its own waxed jacked.

Parkers Preserves was established in 2005 in our small kitchen making a couple of chutneys. We now have up to 18 varities of home made chutneys, pickles, and sauces, which are made in small quantities

We do not use any artificial colourings, flavourings, or preservatives also all our products are gluten and wheat free This year we won 1st and 2nd place in the best chutney,pickle,or mustard in the north west competition
